WINNERS PHOTOS WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT THE 41st IRISH PRINT AWARDS Last night, over 400 professionals from across the print industry cheerfully celebrated the 41st Irish Print Awards at a black tie gala ceremony in Crowne Plaza Northwood. The esteemed Awards aim to recognise the country’s best companies in the print and press sector. With over 175 entries to assess, judges had a difficult decision selecting winners across 31 categories. The overall winner, Business Print were awarded the coveted title of Printer of the Year as well as Digital Printer of the Year (sponsored by MJ Flood) and Sheetfed Colour Offset Printer of the Year (sponsored by Heidelberg). hubergroup is hosting this year’s KBA Cortina User Workshop
For the 14th consecutive year, representatives from web offset printing houses that use Cortina printing presses from the Koenig and Bauer group will meet from 26 to 27 September 2018. As this year’s host, ink manufacturer hubergroup is looking forward to welcoming participants in Munich. In the last year, hubergroup has reorientated its focus to the field of web offset printing. After revising formulation principles and undertaking comprehensive measures to optimise the consistent quality of manufacturing through targeted, procedural adjustments, the ink manufacturer is once again enjoying market success with competitive inks for waterless newspaper printing. FESPA census shows strategic responses to escalating demand
FESPA has revealed the findings of its 2018 Print Census, conducted in partnership with InfoTrends. A total of 1405 respondents were surveyed from 102 countries, with data collected throughout 2017 at FESPA events and from members in Europe, Eurasia, Mexico, Brazil, Thailand and South Africa. The findings show that 83% of respondents are optimistic for the future of their companies, with business from digital wide format continuing to grow.
